  1. A very interesting test Martijn. I scored around 4.20 in both hands, which is well above the female average. This would be nothing unusual, except that I’m male! I’ve known for some time that I have a feminine digit ratio – on both hands my index finger is noticeably longer than my ring finger, a trait which I’ve rarely observed in other men – but it is interesting to see that the rest of my hands may tell the same story. I take it from the chart in the article that a M/F hand factor of 4.20 is very unusual in a male? Is the M/F hand factor really a more reliable indicator of masculinity or femininity than digit ratio?
